This past weekend (May 26-28 2007) a first of its kind seminar was held at the Tenrikyo Mission Headquarters in America. These seminars have been held regularly in Ojiba, but none had been held outside of Japan, until this occassion. It was, as the title of this post indicates, a three day seminar directed specifically towards people who have little to no knowledge of the teachings of Tenrikyo. I had the pleasure of being asked to be a member of the staff for this seminar and it was truly remarkable. Among the twelve participants that came to the Tenrikyo Mission Headquarters in America, or Dendocho, there were a couple of people who had never been to Dendocho before let alone know anything about the teachings of Tenrikyo, so it was a truly unique experience. The lecturers and group facilitators were impressive in their knowledge and understanding of the teachings of the Path and in particular, their abilities to convey them to a group of people who don't know what the teachings are. For those of you who may be interested in finding out more about this Three Day Seminar, I highly recommend you to contact Dendocho and inquire.

I just wanted to know how often these seminars occur.
